Anecdotal Information
House was owned by the George Jones family and later by his widow Mary Jones, primary benefactors of the Jones Memorial Library (see 434 Rivermont). House was undoubtedly designed by Edward G. Frye. This is one of Lynchburg's best and most imaginative Queen Anne-style residences. The Jones moved here from their residence at 3128 Rivermont Avenue. For July 5, 2010 interview with former resident Clifton Potter, please see "Rivermont Memories" under "About Us."
